I love watching makeup and beauty videos on Youtube and there is a tag currently going around the makeup beauty community call the “Ten Things I Would Repurchase” tag. The idea of this post is to let you guys know the products that I would repurchase if something happened to all my makeup and I could only repurchase ten items. It was actually not that hard for my to narrow down my list because everything mentioned here is something that I have already repurchased at least once (with the exception of my eyeshadow palette). So without further a due, in no specific order here are the ten products that I would repurchase.
1. Revlon Colorstay Liquid Foundation in the shade #180
Revlon Colorstay Makeup SPF 6 in 180 Sand Beige has been my go to foundation since I started wearing makeup. I really started playing around with makeup my junior year of high school and I loved watching Youtube videos for inspiration. At that time literally ALL of the Youtube Makeup Gurus were talking and raving about Revlon Colorstay so I had to try it out and I have always had it in my makeup collection ever since. The coverage is medium to full and this product is available in a wide shade range and in Comination/Oily and Dry. The coverage of this foundation is flawless and I always get compliments on my skin when I wear it! The only downside to this product is that I really wish that it came with a pump, but even without it is definitely still a favorite.
2. MAC Creme Cup Cremesheen Lipstick
MAC’s Creme Cup lipstick is the reason that I wear lipstick and was really the first lipstick I ever bought that I still use religiously. I always thought that I was too young to pull of lipstick or that lipstick had to be super noticeable but Creme Cup has proved to me that I am not and it does not! Haha This color is a beautiful soft neutral pink and has what MAC calls a cremesheen finish, which means that it goes on creamy and natural looking without any frost or shimmer. This is an amazing everyday color and I have never found another lipstick quite like it in formula and color. This is with out a doubt a color that is a must-have in my makeup collection.
3. MAC Paint Pot in Painterly
Painterly Paint Pot by MAC is my go to everyday neutral, skin-toned eyeshadow base. This shade matches my skin-tone almost exactly and goes on opaque to cover the redness and veins on my eyelids and creates a natural base for my shadows to cling to. When I wear Painterly I never notice any eyeshadow creasing and this matte product keeps my eyeshadows true to color and lasting all day.
4. NYC Smooth Skin Bronzer in Sunny
I talked about the NYC Smooth Skin Bronzer in Sunny in my March Monthly Favorites post and that is because it is without a doubt one of my favorite bronzer and contours. It is a beautiful light brown shade suitable for light to medium skin-tones and is a beautiful matte chocolate brown shade. I would repurchase this product because of how well it works for the price. $2.99 for an amazing matte contour is hard (I would even say impossible) to beat.
5. Urban Decay NAKED Palette
Where to start with my Urban Decay Naked Palette….honestly if I could only chose one of these ten items to repurchase this would be it! Even though it comes with a $50 price tag, you get twelve full size, highly pigmented eyeshadows that will literally last forever! I have had this palette for two and a half years and I have only hit pan on Sidecar and Virgin. You can make the most amazing natural eye looks with this palette and although I have never had to repurchase it (because it lasts so long) I definitely would if something ever happened to it.
6. Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-on Eye Pencil in Perversion
Perversion 24/7 Glide-on Eye Pencil from Urban Decay is described as the “blackest-black” and that is exactly what it is. This is an amazing color to use for lining the waterline and tightlining because it is a black that literally lasts all day without budging. This is one of the only pencils that I have found where, even on my oily eyelids, once it sets it doesn’t budge till I decide to take it off. Absolutely love this product and it is well worth the price tag for color pigmentation and staying power alone!
7. Essence Gel Eyeliner in Midnight in Paris
Essence gel eyeliners are by far the best I have ever tried! I have this eyeliner in black, dark brown, gray and purple and I wish they would come out with more colors because there are only a couple that I don’t have! This product is extremely pigmented, glides on smoothly, lasts ALL DAY, is waterproof and I have never had one dry out on me. I am absolutely obsessed with this eyeliner and I will never pay more to have a Bobbi Brown or a MAC gel liner when I can get an even better one at the drugstore.
8. Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray
This product is pretty self explanatory and I really appreciate that it does exactly what it says. Urban Decay All Nighter Long-Lasting Makeup Setting Spray literally makes it so that your makeup lasts until you want to take it off. This product does not have a strong scent and feels very light and refreshing when applied. I like to apply this setting spray both after my moisturizer and before my foundation and also after I am completely finished with my final look. My applying it as a primer and a finishing spray I am really able to keep my look locked in place all day long.
9. L’oreal Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara
I feel like this is another Makeup Guru kind of “cult favorite” because it is so popular in the blog and Youtube beauty world, and I totally understand why. This mascara is black, black, black and adds both volume and length to my lashes (both of which are sorely needed). This brush is just a “normal”mascara brush, not one of the ones with plastic bristles that seem to be everywhere these days, and it applies just the right amount of product to my lashes. A must have in ANY makeup collection wether you are a beginner or a makeup artist, this is definitely a go-to product.
10. Buxom Big and Healthy Lip Polish
I am OBSESSED with Buxom’s Big and Healthy Lip Polishes, if you couldn’t already tell from my review! I love these products because they are plumping, smell amazing, are highly pigmented and long lasting. I do not know what else to ask for from a lipgloss! Haha The colors from left to right are Sasha, April, Naomi, and Starr. My favorites of the minis that I have right now are Sasha and April because they are great shimmery everyday colors. Buxom Big and Healthy Lip Polishes also come in creme colors without the shimmer that are beautiful as well. These are without a doubt my favorite lip glosses and I will definitely keep repurchasing these.
Swatches from left to right: Revlon Colorstay 180 Sand Beige, NYC Sunny Bronzer, Buxom Sasha Lipgloss, Buxom Starr Lipgloss, Buxom Naomi Lipgloss, Buxom April Lipgloss, MAC Creme Cup Lipstick, Essence Gel Eyeliner, and Urban Decay Perversion Eyeliner
Hugs and Kisses xoxo
